twocents v1.1-4 is here
twocents v1.1-4 just went out over TestFlight. This was a huge push and the reason why we have been quiet for a bit. With the 1.1 hurdle cleared, we're ready to get back to the frequent updates you want!
Changes in this version:
-
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS! Get notified whenever someone likes your post or your comments, and see what their net worth is. Also get notified whenever your net worth changes.
-
CRYPTO WALLETS! Add BTC, ETH, and SOL wallets to automatically link their balances to your net worth.
-
CONNECTIONS! A new Connections page exists under the User tab for managing bank accounts, brokerages (coming soon), crypto, and more.
-
SPLASH SCREEN! A new splash page with a rotating twocent coin animated by @KitVolta.
-
A completely rebuilt backend to solve for scaling and feature agility.
-
Successfully migrated all user, post, and comment data from the previous backend.
-
Rebuilt User tab to prioritize showing your posts (and soon, your comments) with other functionality moved to an edit menu.
-
Added a link to join the twocents Discord in the User tab for real time feedback and discussions.
-
Increased the max length of posts to enable more in depth discussions.
-
Improved padding and margins of balance pills in posts, comments, and leaderboards.
-
Fixed a bug where Controversial All Time posts wouldn't load.
-
Fixed a bug where text in posts and comments couldn't be selected.
-
Modified the available cities in Wyoming according to expert opinion.
Next Up:
I would like to encourage you all to post and see what kind of numbers you can get on your posts and comments! We're still working with Plaid to enable production access and will have that in the next update as soon as humanly possible. We're already on our end so we just need them to flip the switch.
Finally, I have started inviting more people to the TestFlight from our waitlist. Be ready to see a couple hundred new faces (and dollars) around here.
Thanks everyone,
Andi
