twocents v1.1-11 - Polls, Nicknames, Quote Posts and More

changelog

We just flipped the switch on build 11. This is one of the biggest twocents updates ever, and we're very excited to see what you can do with it. Changes in this version:

  • POLL POSTS! Just like X, you can create polls with up to four options. But on twocents, not only can you see the percent of people that voted for each option, you can also see the average net worth for everyone that picked it.

  • LINK POSTS! When creating a post you can now include a URL to a news article, tweet, or website to open a discussion about it.

  • QUOTE POSTS! On other peoples' posts you can tap the three dots to create a quote post from theirs.

  • NICKNAMES! Tap the three dots next to a post to set a nickname for a twocents user. Now when you see them around again, you'll have a name to remember them by. You can also see how many nicknames people have accumulated on their profile.

  • KEYWORDS! You can mention topics like #AAPL or #BTC in your post and direct users to your own custom topics. We're working on getting live stock prices for relevant topics too.

  • (Beta) We're working on a way to fix connections that get disconnected during leaderboard refreshes. There's now a reconnect button inside those connection pages that should help you re-add that account. Submit feedback or message us on X @twocentinc if this isn't working for you.

  • You can now see someone's comments on other posts from their user profile.

  • Balances now animate between the balance a user had when they made a post and the balance they currently have when you visit their profile.

  • Fixed a bug where only a small section of the onboarding Continue button was tappable.

  • Fixed a bug where Web deep links weren't opening the app to the correct post.

I want to give a big shoutout to our dev Esra for building all of these features in a very short timeframe. Everybody say thank you Esra!

Now go make some funny polls so I have cheeky screenshots to go to market with.

Thanks,

Andi
